Gumdrops & Lollipops Candy Shoppe and Creamery, was established in 2008.  Located at 334 Main Street Niantic CT (the yellow house)”.is nestled on the corner of the Hole in the Wall Beach and the Niantic Bay Boardwalk, making it a perfect destination for both locals and visitors seeking a nostalgic seaside experience.   ​When we opened, we had an idea in mind that this was going to be more than just a Candy store, it was going to be a doorway to simpler times.  A place where memories are made.   ​Laughter and sticky fingers are all part of our charm.  ​We have an impressive selection of handcrafted premium ice cream with over 35 flavors including our classics like Vanilla, chocolate and strawberry as well as Butter Pecan, Pistachio and our ever so famous Niantic Train Tracks and Black Raspberry with or without our chunky chocolate chips.   ​We also have our premium soft serve ice cream (Not Ice Milk) offering Vanilla, Chocolate or Twist with our chocolate or cherry dip or any topping of your liking. Beyond ice cream we also offer array of nostalgic candies including old fashioned Salt Water Taffy and Strawberry Licorice to candy Buttons and Mary Janes, along with our gummies and sour candies and so much more. We also have an amazing assortment of our delicious handcrafted fudge along with our large selection of gourmet chocolates taking you back to your childhood to delicious favorites where you feel like “a kid in a candy store”.  Whether you’re stopping by for a quick treat or just looking to enjoy a beautiful day by the beach with an ice cream cone or sundae, our warm welcoming atmosphere makes every visit feel like home.   We have outdoor seating on our front patio where you can watch the activities of Main Street or sit inside for an experience of a true ice cream parlor.  We also have our deck where you can watch the people walking to the boardwalk or just watching the boats or the train go by.  You always feel like Gumdrops & Lollipops offers old fashioned seaside charm.
